Internet lawyer

We are a firm of solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. (Note that firms who avoid using the term "solicitors" but instead call themselves "legal consultants" or "XYZ Legal" are likely to be unregulated.)

UK internet lawyer Adam Taylor founded Adlex Solicitors in 2001. An ex- partner and head of E-Commerce and Technology Group at City of London law firm Withers, he felt that there was a market for specialist internet lawyers with expertise derived from the City but who did not charge City rates.

Adam Taylor, who has qualified as a solicitor in the UK, Ireland and New York, has been recommended as an internet lawyer in Euromoney Legal Media Group's Guide to Leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyers and selected as an expert e-commerce lawyer in Legal Experts.

He has been appointed to the following domain name dispute arbitration panels: Czech Arbitration Court (.eu domain name disputes), WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center's Domain Name Panel (.com and others), WIPO list of neutrals (.ie - Ireland), Nominet Dispute Resolution Service (.uk).

Client testimonials:

"Adam has proven to be a valuable legal resource for a number of key factors. Firstly, he has quickly grasped the nature of our business and the sector within which it operates and therefore we have not had to fund his learning. Secondly, Adam has always been available to accept work at short notice, which he has quickly turned around with high quality results. Adam is extremely congenial, highly motivated and possesses a sharp intellect. He has quickly grasped the concepts behind our business requirements and has played a valuable role with bringing services to market. I have no reservations in recommending Adam as a source of legal advice."

"Many thanks for all your hard work on this case - it is much appreciated. Further, I am convinced that your tenacious and unique knowledge of the internet was invaluable. I will not hesitate to recommend you in future."
